About This Project

State of the art office building with a gross area of approximately 63,000 square feet along with ancillary buildings. It is purpose built to house and accommodate the staff and operations as the headquarters of the Caribbean Examinations Council.

It is designed to be three storeys in height with the main structure being a reinforced concrete frame with flat slabs to the floors and roof. The external walls shall be both reinforced concrete shear walls and block walls to receive aluminium composite paneling finish. Internal walls are to be reinforced concrete shear walls and block walls along with drywall partitions. The finishes are to be tiled & carpet tiled floors, painted walls and drywall & acoustic ceilings. The services are to comprise all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security and building management systems. Parking for 135 cars is to be provided. It is designed to be fully functional during natural disasters and has full back-up potable water supply, includes a standby generator, sewage treatment plant and irrigation water tank.
