About This Project

The Barcadere Marina is the best equipped marina in the Cayman Islands. It received The Governor’s Award for Excellence in Design and Construction and The Governor’s Commendation for Environmental Sensitivity and Sustainability in 2013.

 

For over eight years, BCQS provided project, cost, and fund management services for the Barcadere Marina development. The project consisted of constructing a marine basin with sea walls, docks and surrounded site infrastructure to service marina facilities. The development comprises 60 boat slips and sheltered docking for the Cayman Marine Police, local boats and visiting yachts. The marina also includes a fuel station, change rooms, 10,000 sq. ft. workshop office space, 8,000 sq. ft. retail space (Scotts Marine) and a 7,000 sq. ft. restaurant and bar (George Town Yacht Club).
