Michael Dennis is a Senior Valuation Surveyor for BCQS International based in the British Virgin Islands. He brings over 43 years of experience providing quantity surveying services to both public and private sector clients. Michael has over 20 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor/Property Appraiser for BCQS. He has been involved in various commercial and residential appraisals in the British Virgin Islands and other Caribbean islands, including Montserrat, St Kitts, Nevis, Anguilla, and Antigua.

As the Office Manager for BCQS International in Trinidad and Tobago, Nastassia is a pivotal team member with over a decade of office administration and customer service experience.

Nastassia's extensive knowledge and experience have been instrumental in ensuring our multi-disciplinary practice always provides high quality support and services to clients related to valuations, project management and quantity surveying. Her role goes beyond traditional office management, encompassing aspects of operations management and the refinement of procedural frameworks. Her expertise in these areas has enhanced the efficiency of our daily operations and contributed significantly to the organisational development of our Trinidad office.

Nastassia's commitment to professional development is evident. She has completed her Associate of Science Degree in Management from UWI Roytec in Trinidad and Tobago. Building on this foundation, she is working towards a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Her educational pursuits further enhance her invaluable contributions to our team and the services we offer to our clients.

Steven has over eighteen years of general practice surveying experience in both the public and private sector. His good general property knowledge is well respected within the financial and real estate community and he has experience in residential, commercial and land valuations, building surveys, insurance reinstatement valuations and management of commercial property. Steven's early surveying career began in the UK but he has now been located in the Caribbean for the last ten years. Steve is a current RICS Registered Valuer.

Geoffrey is a Director for BCQS International based in Trinidad and Tobago. He has over 20 years of experience and specializes in Design and Build projects and advice relating to cost and sustainability in construction.

Prior to joining BCQS in 2018, Geoffrey was a Project Manager at ExeQtech Limited.

Kerry-Ann Barnes is an Associate Director and Head of Valuations BVI for BCQS based in the British Virgin Islands. She brings a wealth of experience in the BVI and has nearly 20 years experience in the profession. Kerry-Ann has a Diploma in Land Economy and Valuation Surveying from the University of Technology, Jamaica, a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from the University of Reading and a Post Graduate Diploma in Property Development from the Robert Gordon University.

Terry has over 20 years experience working in the Construction Industry, providing cost management and valuation services to a diverse range of clients. Terry has a wealth of experience in the preparation of budget estimates, project monitoring and reinstatement valuations for insurance purposes for a range of residential and commercial properties.

Terry also has also transitioned to provide valuations for a wide range of residential properties. Terry has a Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering (OTD) and has gained a certificate in property management. Terry is a member of the Barbados Valuers Council.

Gary Targett is a Construction Superintendent with BCQS Construction Management and has over 25 years of construction management experience. Gary has been with the company for over 16 years; his experience extends to all areas of construction management and site supervision.

Rolfo is a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Since 2016, Rolfo has been providing quantity surveying, project monitoring, cost planning and contract administration services. Prior to joining BCQS International, Rolfo held a position with a development company also based in Grand Cayman.

Rolfo has experience over a range of projects in the Cayman Islands, including Residential, Commercial, Civils, and Leisure, with a notable project being the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, Grand Cayman.

Rolfo holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and an MSc in Construction Project Management, both from Edinburgh Napier University. He is a proud Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Daniel Afoke is an Associate Director for BCQS International specialising in Quantity Surveying and Project Management within the Bahamas. He has over 13 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor specialising in Hotel, Resorts and Residential projects. He has worked both for contractor and consultant and gained practicable experience of working on site and being a contributing member of the client’s design team. Over this period Daniel has worked on projects in London, Europe and within the Caribbean, covering both Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands. More recently Daniel has provided professional consultancy services to the Caribbean following Hurricane Irma in 2017 and Hurricane Dorian 2019. Daniel’s focus, motivation and dedication provides the Client peace of mind whether it is assisting them with insurance claims, process of rebuilding or carrying out reinstatement cost assessments for their properties.

Suraj Ramdass is the Operations & Maintenance Technician/Administrator with BCQS International based in Guyana. In this role, Suraj oversees and supervises facilities maintenance for the Exxon Mobil Guyana Office, property management and maintenance for Exxon staff residences. Previously, Suraj held a position with the US Embassy Guyana within the Facilities Maintenance Department, he possesses a wealth of knowledge and approximately 10 years of experience in the facilities maintenance field. Suraj obtained his qualifications in Plumbing and Electrical Installation from Guyana Technical Institute; additionally, he is very passionate about his work and is driven by the unrelenting pursuit of excellence.

A successful, highly motivated professional leader with more than 20 years of experience throughout the oil, gas and Petrochemical industry in addition to construction, facilities and projects services.

Stacey-Ann is a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in BCQS’s Trinidad and Tobago office, with more than 15 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management. She provides pre- and post-contract services, including cost planning and estimating, tender and procurement documentation, contract administration, payment certification, variation assessment and final account settlement. Her experience also includes project monitoring and project management services on selected assignments.

Her portfolio includes major commercial and hospitality developments, industrial and healthcare facilities, aviation and infrastructure programmes, and residential projects throughout the Caribbean. Before joining BCQS, she held quantity surveying and cost consultancy roles in Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica.

Patrick Downie is an Associate Director for BCQS International based in Barbados. He has over 15 years of experience in the industry, providing services to a wide range of public and private sector clients. He brings an understanding of the global construction market, allowing him to advise clients within the Caribbean about cost pressures and how to achieve value. Patrick specialises in Commercial Management, Project Management, Procurement, and Cost Estimation & Planning. He has a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree from Nottingham Trent University and an MSc Construction Cost Management degree from the University of Reading.

Patrick became a chartered member of the RICS in 2011 and achieved Fellowship status in 2019. He is also an active APC Assessor and has mentored over 20 APC candidates to chartership success.

Patrick has worked on notable projects in Barbados, including the New Geriatric Hospital and Indigo Hotel developments. He acted as a Quantity Surveyor, providing cost planning, procurement, and tendering services on both projects.

Before joining BCQS, Patrick provided cost and project management services on various large projects while working with Mott MacDonald in London.

Chrisna Mott is a Senior Quantity Surveyor for BCQS Bahamas. She has a decade of experience working within the field, and six years’ experience providing quantity surveying and commercial management services for projects within the public and private sector throughout the Bahamas.

Chrisna has worked as part of a general contractor’s team (in the capacity of commercial manager), as well as worked on behalf of an Owner (in the capacity of Quantity Surveyor). This has allowed her to be well rounded and have a better understanding of the various aspects of a project.

Allan Blissett is a Senior Quantity Surveyor for BCQS Bahamas. He has over five years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor specialising in Commercial and Residential projects.

Allan has gained practical experience working on projects in Trinidad & Tobago providing pre-contract and post-contract services to individual clients and private developers.

Since joining BCQS in October 2021, Allan has provided professional services to clients in form of cost estimates, Bill of Quantities, interim payments, and project cost reporting here in The Bahamas as well as Turks and Caicos. Allan is currently in the process of completing his APC to become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor.

Brandon Straker is a Senior Valuation Surveyor for BCQS International based in the Turks and Caicos Islands. His general practice surveying experience lies in a broad range of areas, including valuation, brokerage and consultancy services. Brandon has acted for and advised a diverse pool of clients including private equity, institutional funds, banks, pension funds, REITs and high net worth individuals.

Brandon’s expertise enables him to undertake valuation projects throughout the entire Caribbean region, having valued properties in locations including the Turks and Caicos, Barbados, St. Lucia, Jamaica, Saint Barthelemy and The Bahamas. Properties valued include hotels, condominium developments, land, villas, industrial, retail, office, and government buildings.

Prior to joining the BCQS team in 2022, he spent two years at a valuation and consultancy firm with operations in Barbados and across the wider Caribbean.

Rob Weekes is a Project Manager for BCQS International based out of the Turks & Caicos Islands office. He has an established track record of working with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to consistently deliver solutions safely, on time, on budget, and to the agreed quality standards.

With extensive experience in the field, Rob oversees the overall direction, control, and delivery of projects, ensuring the management of 'best practice' deliverables that meet client needs. His flexible approach, combined with his expertise and knowledge, enable him to achieve project timelines. Rob is known for his collaborative work ethic, engaging effectively with all parties involved to deliver workable and usable solutions.

Troy Skeffers is a Senior Quantity Surveyor for BCQS International based in the Turks & Caicos Islands office.
He has over twenty-five (25) years of experience in Quantity Surveying, in a broad range of areas such as building and civil construction, commercial construction, laying of water mains, sea defense and road construction projects. Prior to joining BCQS, he worked for several construction companies and consultants in Guyana, Barbados and Turks and Caicos Islands.

Jamie Claydon is an Associate Directorfor BCQS based in Barbados. With over 13 years of experience in the UK and the Caribbean, Jamie specialises in cost estimating, planning, pre- and post-contract Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration, Employer’s Agent duties, and Project Management.

Since joining BCQS in 2023, Jamie has provided Project Management, Contract Administration, and Quantity Surveying services on notable projects such as the renovation of seven Marriott Hotels and Sandals, Barbados. He has managed a diverse range of projects from £500k to £300m for both public and private clients, with experience in the sports, commercial, retail, and public sectors, as well as many others. He has substantial knowledge of JCT contracts and experience in the use of NEC 3 / 4 and bespoke contracts, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.

Jamie holds a BSc (Hons) in Surveying (Quantity) and an HNC in Construction from London South Bank University. He is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Shanice Haynes is a Valuation Surveyor for BCQS International based in Barbados. She has extensive experience in conducting property appraisals across both private and public sectors. Shanice possesses adept knowledge and understanding of valuation principles and procedures.

She began her career at the National Land Agency (NLA) in 2013 as a Records Officer in the Commissioner of Land Valuations’ office before transitioning to the role of Valuation Assistant within the NLA’s Land Valuation Division. While working full-time, she enrolled at the University of Technology in 2017 and graduated in 2021. During this time, she gained experience as a valuer until her official appointment to the role in 2022.

Audrey is a Senior Valuation Surveyor with international experience in both the UK and the Cayman Islands. She previously worked with the Cayman Islands Government Lands and Survey Department, where she developed a strong foundation in statutory valuations, compulsory purchase, and client advisory services. Audrey is MRICS qualified and a Registered Valuer having trained and qualified with Deloitte LLP in London. Audrey is an RICS APC Assessor and currently serves on the RICS Cayman Chapter Board. She is known for her professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Mark is a Quantity Surveyor with over 18 years of construction industry experience. He has been with BCQS International in the BVI since 2007.

He has provided both public and private sector clients with project monitoring, cost management and construction quantity surveying services. His career began as a Contractor’s Quantity Surveyor in Jamaica, he then went on to working in his private practice, where he provided bespoke construction cost consultancy services.

He has contributed to the production of the BCQS Market Trend Report and participated in construction seminars in the BVI. Mark has also done presentations on varying topics in the yearly RICS/IPTI Construction and Valuation Conference.

Mark is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

As the Managing Director of BCQS International, Liam brings over thirty years of experience providing quantity surveying, project management, project monitoring and appraisal services to both public and private sector clients. He has lived and worked in the Caribbean since 1990 and has personally worked on projects in Anguilla, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Bonaire, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Providenciales, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Tobago and Tortola.

Liam has a BSc in quantity surveying from Leeds Beckett University and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Additionally, Liam is an RICS Registered Valuer, an RICS APC Assessor and sits on the RICS Americas Fellowship by Nomination Panel and Education and Standards Board.

As a Surveyor at BCQS International in BVI, Denny is a born and bread BV Islander brings Fourteen years of experience in the provision of Construction Cost Analysis, Construction Cost Monitoring, and Valuation services to a wide range of public and private sector clients within the Caribbean Region.

Denny started employment at BCQS International in the BVI in 2004 as a trainee and quickly worked his way up to a Surveyor within just two years after shadowing the experts at BCQS.

His experience covers a wide range of projects from vacant land, resort hotels, to commercial office construction and middle to high-end residential homes.

Joe is an Associate Director for BCQS International based in Anguilla. He is an experienced Commercial Manager/Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager involved in all aspects of cost management and contract administration, covering both pre and post contract activities. He has a broad range of commercial experience covering procurement, cost planning, benchmarking, tendering, construction phase valuation, cost reporting, final account negotiation and claim settlement. This is complemented by a detailed knowledge of various forms of contract including NEC, JCT and FIDIC.

With over 16 years of construction industry experience, Joe has been involved in a wide variety of projects across many different public and private sectors including mixed use retail / residential/commercial, hospitality, specialist teaching, town centre re-generation and commercial offices. He is highly experienced working overseas, including US$ 1Billion+ landmark projects in Kazakhstan (Mixed use High rise) and Saudi Arabia. Joe has recently divided his time between Anguilla, St Martin and St Barts delivering project and commercial management for a number of prestigious hotel re-developments.

Joe is a chartered member of the CIOB, holds a Bsc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from UCEM Reading University and an HND in Construction Management from London Southbank University.

Lyle is a Project Manager for BCQS International with over 14 years of experience providing Project Management, Construction Management and Appraisal services to private sector clients. He has worked on projects in the BVI, St. Martin and Miami, Florida. His experience covers a wide range of projects from high rise condominium developments, luxury private residences, resort hotels and hospitals to commercial office refurbishments and fit-outs. Lyle is a highly organised, effective and proficient Project Manager that ensures the successful and timely delivery of his client’s projects. Lyle holds a BSc. in Building Construction Technology.

Marsha Hector is a Quantity Surveyor for BCQS International based in the British Virgin Islands. She has over 19 years of experience in the provision of several capacities in the construction industry such as quantity surveying, cost management, construction management and procurement.

Marsha has worked in the public and private sector in both British Virgin Islands and Antigua. Marsha also possesses experience in estimating, cost planning, property reinstatement cost reports, producing tender documents and bills of quantities as well as cost management during construction stage.

Michele St. Edmondson is a Valuation Surveyor for BCQS International based in the British Virgin Islands. She has 20 years’ experience in the Public Sector providing Land Administration and Property Management services to various departments within the British Virgin Islands Government. Michele has also worked with the Government of Jamaica in the National Land Agency in senior positions with the Commissioner of Lands Unit and has experience in Land Dispute and Mediation Resolution as well as relevant skill training in GIS technology and LIS Management Systems.

Michelle worked as a Land Consultant engaging in matters related to Stamp Duty and Property Tax Reform, and expert witness in legal cases for compensation and claims. She also worked as a Senior Valuer, Estate Agent, and mortgage brokerage with various public and private sector firms in Jamaica.

Based in the British Virgin Islands, Sam brings over 17 years of experience working in the construction industry across all sectors.

He spent the early part of his career working for main contractors in the UK but made the move to the Caribbean and consultancy at the start of 2015. The experience Sam gained while working for contractors, now combined with 10 years in consultancy, is invaluable in his role providing quantity surveying services to both public and private sector clients.

Specialising in pre and post-contract quantity surveying services, but also with extensive experience in project management, he has widespread knowledge of estimating, cost planning, production of tender documents and cost management during construction stage, in addition to all areas of project management, from panning to delivery.

Sam holds a BSc in Mathematics, a postgraduate diploma in Construction and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Steven is an Associate Director based in the Cayman Islands. He has over twenty years of experience in the provision of providing quantity surveying, loss adjusting, project monitoring, project management, cost management, procurement services and valuation services to a wide range of public and commercial clients (15 years), and providing project cost management services for general contractors (5 years).

Steven has lived and worked in the Caribbean for more than fifteen years and has personally worked on projects in the Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Roatan, Turks & Caicos and Trinidad.

Steven has a BSc, with Honours, in Quantity Surveying from Nottingham Trent University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Additionally, Steven is an RICS Registered Valuer.

As a Director of BCQS in Trinidad and Tobago, Ken brings over two decades of valuation services to a wide range of public and private sector clients, within Trinidad and Tobago.

Having set-up and managed BCQS in Trinidad and Tobago since 2011, Ken has provided strategic direction and prospects for establishing BCQS International as the preferred multi-disciplinary firm of chartered surveyors and property consultants, through local knowledge with global standards. His experience covers a wide range of portfolios and major private sector projects, including advising owners and occupiers in all matters concerning Residential and Commercial property valuation reports, acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant negotiations.

Ken holds a BSc in Estate Management, is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is an RICS Registered Valuer.

Chiara is a Associate Director based in the Turks and Caicos Islands. She has over fifteen years of experience providing professional quantity surveying, project management and development services to general contractors and private sector clients. Chiara has diverse construction industry experience gained in the Caribbean, particularly Barbados, The OECS, British Virgin Islands and Turks & Caicos.

Chiara has a wide range of construction experience, specifically within the pre and post contract budgets of clients and contractors, contractual responsibilities, project management and quality assurance. She specializes in remote locations, client reporting, contract administration and Employer’s representative roles. Chiara has varied experiences in Commercial, Boutique Hotels and Resorts, luxury residences and specialized buildings.

Galina is a property and development consultant for BCQS based in the Dominican Republic. She has been living on the island for ten years and brings over five years of experience in property management and development, and over ten years in management positions. This includes real estate management in the Dominican, the United States and other areas of Latin America. Galina is multilingual and has the ability to oversee the execution of multiple projects with a young, fresh perspective.

Galina graduated with a degree in management and tourism from Kyrgyz University in 2005, and moved to the Dominican Republic after three years of tourism management in Kyrgyzstan and Thailand.

Camila is an Architect with experience in interior design, focused in corporate interior project management and strategies for the workplace.  Camila has excellent communication skills that have been applied to the management process that ranges from planning to the closeout phase of the project. She is an organized professional that gives priority to process transparency and documentation.

She has gained experience with multinational companies working within their set standards and achieving great results in scheduling and procurement. Camila counts with a LEED GA certification, and knowledge of the OSHA regulation on site health and safety. She finished her studies last year and became a Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM).

As an Architect, Jorge began his professional experience as a designer of projects throughout the territory of Colombia. In addition, experience was gained managing construction work on site as a project coordinator, providing insight and knowledge of the full spectrum of trades.

Jorge has amassed over 25 years of project management experience in Colombia, as well as Brazil, Peru and Venezuela, acting as a senior construction advisor, both in the public and private sector on projects which demanded timeliness, quality and cost control.

Hernán studied Architecture in Montevideo and he began his career in Uruguay in 1993 as a site based Architect with S.E.R. Construction Company on housing developments. In 1997, he joined Doltasol to become a retail interior designer Architect, and then joined Movicom in 1999 as Project Architect and Project Manager
In 2002 he moved to Madrid to become a Senior Architect with Chapman Taylor Spain, where he gained extensive experience in mixed use complexes, retail and hotels, leading projects in Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Panama, Arabian Emirates and Poland.

In 2012 he moved to Brazil and joined BCQS as Project and Design Manager to assist Squarestone Brasil build the Golden Square Shopping Center in São Bernardo, São Paulo, Brazil.

Since 2015 he is based in Bogotá developing Retail, Industrial and mixed uses Projects.

As a Director and Head of Valuations for the Cayman Islands, Rick brings sixteen years of experience in the provision of valuation and appraisal services to a wide range of public and private sector clients.

He has worked in the Caribbean region for over ten years undertaking Valuation related services in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands in addition to feasibility studies, insurance assessments, loss adjusting, construction/project management and monitoring services for banks who provide financing for construction projects. He has worked in the Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, Jamaica, BVI, Trinidad and the Turks and Caicos Islands and has a broad knowledge of regional factors impacting the real estate industry.

Rick has a BSc in Real Estate Management from Nottingham Trent University, is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2008 and a RICS Registered Valuer having trained and qualified at Sanderson Weatherall Ltd in the UK.

Daria is a Chartered Surveyor and Director for BCQS Bahamas. She has over ten years of experience providing professional quantity surveying, cost management and project management services to a wide range of public and private sector clients.

Daria has extensive experience obtained in the financial management of construction and development projects, using different procurement forms for a varied client base.
She specialises in project co-ordination, contract administration and Employer’s Representative roles for projects in the leisure, retail and commercial sectors, as well as Construction Management experience in the residential sector.

She has also carried varied appraisal experience and is a Member of the Bahamas Real Estate Association.

Sanjay Amin is a Director of BCQS International based in Barbados and is responsible for managing their offices in Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana as well as projects in the Eastern Caribbean Islands.

Sanjay has over 30 years of experience providing cost and project management services in the UK and the Caribbean on a variety of hospitality, commercial, retail, industrial and public sector type projects. He specialises in contract procurement, fund monitoring as well as design & build type projects and has acted as an Expert Witness in several cases in the UK, Ireland and Trinidad and Tobago.

Sanjay is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a Registered Valuer. He is a former member of the RICS Global Governing Council (2013-2017) and currently sits on the RICS Caribbean Board having been Chairman for 5 years from 2012–2017.

Sanjay is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Member of the Expert Witness Institute in London. He also sits on the Council of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce.

He is a Rotarian for over 15 years and is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Barbados.

Prior to joining BCQS International, Sanjay was an Associate Partner at Gardiner & Theobald, London, UK. During this time, he worked on a variety of large commercial and industrial developments in the UK including offices, shopping centres, warehouses and business park offices.

James Slattery is a Director of BCQS heading up the Group’s interests in Latin America. He has been living and working in the Caribbean and Latin America region for over 3 decades. Currently, he is specifically concentrating on the South America market, specifically Brazil and Colombia, as well as Guyana.

James is a Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor by profession, with over three decades of experience in Property Development, Real Estate, and Construction.

His more recent project experience is within the Hospitality, Health, Contract Workplace & Contact Center sectors, as well as Hi Tech industrial plants.

James is a founding executive board member of RICS Brazil; and a founding Executive Council member of Turks & Caicos Society of Architects, Surveyors and Engineers (TCASE).

As a Director of BCQS International in BVI, Chris brings over twenty-five years of experience in the provision of Project and Cost Management, Expert Witness, Dispute Resolution, Quantity Surveying, and Valuation services to a wide range of public and private sector clients, twenty years within the Caribbean Region.

His experience covers a wide range of projects from iconic skyscrapers, private island developments, resort hotels, state of the art schools, to boutique office refurbishments and high-end residential homes.

Chris holds a degree Economics & Quantity Surveying, an MBA with Distinction, is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, an Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, is an RICS Registered Valuer and RICS Registered Expert Witness.

Ben Butler is a Director of BCQS International based in the British Virgin Islands office.

Ben has over 20 years of postgraduate experience providing quantity surveying, project management, project monitoring and appraisal services to both public and private sector clients. Ben has lived and worked in the Caribbean for over 15 years and specialises in project management, enhancing schemes utilizing value, and risk management techniques to optimize their feasibility.

Ben is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is a RICS Registered Valuer.

Jonathan is a Director at BCQS, based in the Cayman Islands. With professional experience spanning the United Kingdom and the Caribbean, he leads multidisciplinary teams across the region, including in the Cayman Islands, Anguilla, St Martin, St Barths, Antigua, and the British Virgin Islands. He specialises in Construction Management, Project Management, and Cost Management services for both public and private sector clients across the Caribbean region.

He has delivered a wide range of projects, including airport rehabilitations, hospitals and medical facilities, higher and further education campuses, large resort and island developments, custom luxury residences, commercial and retail properties, fit-outs, and marine and infrastructure works. His portfolio includes overseeing world-class resort projects such as Belmond’s Cap Juluca in Anguilla, Maroma in Mexico, and La Samanna in St Martin, as well as Rosewood Le Guanahani in St Barths.

Lavern Gumbs joined the BCQS team in the British Virgin Islands in 2002 and has over 30 years of experience in business management. She is always eager to take on a new challenge, and it is through this, she has developed in her career with BCQS. Lavern has excellent time management skills and can handle any situation that arises. She utilises several strategies to deal with the many unplanned events that come with working in the Caribbean. Her combination of planning, strategy, delegating and adaptability are what ensure the BCQS team in the BVI are equipped to assist clients. Lavern is often referred to as "a people person" because of her dedication to clients and colleagues and her passion for excelling at her job.

Neil Purton is a Director of the BCQS Group. Neil has over two decades of post graduate experience in project management and quantity surveying. Neil has been based in the Caribbean since 1996, specialising in project and construction management.

Following graduation from Nottingham Trent University in UK in 1989, Simon gained valuable experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager in the UK before starting life with BCQS in Cayman Islands in 1997 and subsequently taking over management of the Turks & Caicos Islands office in 2000. During his time in TCI, the islands have experienced unprecedented growth of the hotel and tourism and infrastructure sectors and Simon and his BCQS team provided management and cost advisory services on many of these development projects.

Simon is also a RICS Registered Valuer, having carried out numerous property valuations and appraisals for all major lenders in the region. With his wealth of experience in construction & development in the Caribbean, Simon provides a valuable resource for any potential Developer or Investor and this knowledge has enabled him provide extensive construction loan monitoring and lender representation services on many types of projects.
