Camila is an Architect with experience in interior design, focused in corporate interior project management and strategies for the workplace. Camila has excellent communication skills that have been applied to the management process that ranges from planning to the closeout phase of the project. She is an organized professional that gives priority to process transparency and documentation.
She has gained experience with multinational companies working within their set standards and achieving great results in scheduling and procurement. Camila counts with a LEED GA certification, and knowledge of the OSHA regulation on site health and safety. She finished her studies last year and became a Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM).
Darren is a MEP Coordinator and Construction Manager for BCQS International. He brings over 20 years experience working overseas on major projects in Caribbean, Middle East and Asia as an Electrical/MEP Manager/ Commissioning Manager. Darren has worked in the public and private sector on many projects including hotel/resorts, airports, hospitals and commercial buildings.

Marsha Boynes is a Quantity Surveyor for BCQS International based in the British Virgin Islands. She has over 19 years of experience in the provision of several capacities in the construction industry such as quantity surveying, cost management, construction management and procurement.
Marsha has worked in the public and private sector in both British Virgin Islands and Antigua. Marsha also possesses experience in estimating, cost planning, property reinstatement cost reports, producing tender documents and bills of quantities as well as cost management during construction stage.

Galina is a property and development consultant for BCQS based in the Dominican Republic. She has been living on the island for ten years and brings over five years of experience in property management and development, and over ten years in management positions. This includes real estate management in the Dominican, the United States and other areas of Latin America. Galina is multilingual and has the ability to oversee the execution of multiple projects with a young, fresh perspective.
Galina graduated with a degree in management and tourism from Kyrgyz University in 2005, and moved to the Dominican Republic after three years of tourism management in Kyrgyzstan and Thailand.

Kerry-Ann Barnes is the Head of Valuations/ Senior Valuation Surveyor for BCQS based in the British Virgin Islands. She brings a wealth of experience in the BVI and has over 15 years experience in the profession. Kerry-Ann has a Diploma in Land Economy and Valuation Surveying from the University of Technology, Jamaica, a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from the University of Reading and a Post Graduate Diploma in Property Development from the Robert Gordon University.

Michele St. Edmondson is a Valuation Surveyor for BCQS International based in the British Virgin Islands. She has 20 years’ experience in the Public Sector providing Land Administration and Property Management services to various departments within the British Virgin Islands Government. Michele has also worked with the Government of Jamaica in the National Land Agency in senior positions with the Commissioner of Lands Unit and has experience in Land Dispute and Mediation Resolution as well as relevant skill training in GIS technology and LIS Management Systems.
Michelle worked as a Land Consultant engaging in matters related to Stamp Duty and Property Tax Reform, and expert witness in legal cases for compensation and claims. She also worked as a Senior Valuer, Estate Agent, and mortgage brokerage with various public and private sector firms in Jamaica.

Chiara is a Project Manager & Quantity Surveyor based in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Juan Camilo Palacios is a Project Coordinator for BCQS International based in Bogotá, Colombia. Juan graduated from Javeriana University as a Civil Engineer before going on to complete a Master of Architecture from the University of Calgary.
Juan has worked on structural designs for buildings, houses, and stadiums and has experience doing graphics, diagrams and 3D modeling in both, engineering and architecture software.
Juan has gained valuable teamwork, problem analysis, architectural design, and decision-making skills through his experience coordinating projects onsite for BCQS, where he was part of a team that delivered buildings that account for more than 25000 sqm. Juan is a hard worker who always puts his best effort into all tasks.

Based in the British Virgin Islands, Sam brings over 10 years of experience working in the construction industry across all sectors.
He spent the early part of his career working for main contractors in the UK but made the move to the Caribbean and consultancy at the start of 2015. The experience Sam gained while working for contractors is invaluable in his role providing quantity surveying services to both public and private sector clients.
Specialising in pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying services he has extensive experience in estimating, cost planning and production of tender documents as well as cost management during construction stage.
Sam holds a BSc in Mathematics, a postgraduate diploma in Construction and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Nigel Alleyne is a Project & Construction Manager for BCQS International based in Turks and Caicos. He is an innovative, profit orientated Senior Drafting Technician, Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Nigel has a long track record of ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality and within budget by effectively organising, managing and utilising all resources. He can lead teams on commercial, industrial, education and health projects where the highest standards are required.
Nigel is also an efficient senior drafting technician and has experience using cutting-edge 2D to 5D methods of showing the physical and functional aspects to any project, resulting in full collaboration, of the BMI along with 4D. 5D functionality adds the element of costs to the already existing time management & CDE components of information sharing in construction.

Ailie has over five years of experience in the provision of valuation, development and strategic real estate consultancy services. Prior to joining BCQS International, Ailie held a position with another Cayman Islands surveying firm. She qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with Deloitte LLP in London, where she was sponsored to undertake a Masters degree in Real Estate.
Ailie has experience valuing a range of asset types including prime commercial buildings, government properties, condominiums, land, houses, warehouses and airports. Clients have included HSBC, Barclays Bank, Gatwick Airport, Dubai Airport, The UK and Cayman Islands Governments and the RICS.
Ailie holds a Master of Arts degree with Honours in Economics and Geography from the University of Edinburgh and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from London South Bank University.

As a Quantity Surveyor operating at the BCQS International office in Trinidad and Tobago, Stacey-Ann brings over five years of experience in the provision of Quantity Surveying (QS) services in the Caribbean region.
Her experience covers a range of projects from residential developments, commercial office buildings, infrastructure works to correctional facilities, primary schools, university expansion and medical facilities from both Project QS and Contract QS perspectives.

Liam has a BSc in quantity surveying from Leeds Beckett University and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Additionally, Liam is an RICS Registered Valuer, an RICS APC Assessor and sits on the RICS Americas Fellowship by Nomination Panel and Education and Standards Board.

As an Office Manager for BCQS International Trinidad and Tobago, Nastassia brings over a decade of office administration and customer service experience, from working within the private sector of Trinidad and Tobago.
Nastassia's extensive knowledge and experience has enabled her to provide support services to our multi-disciplinary practice, in addition to operations management and procedures. Throughout her experience at BCQS, she has developed a keen interest in providing our clients with the professionalism that they have become accustomed to from BCQS, as it relates to Valuations, Project Management and Quantity Surveying.

Terry has over 20 years experience working in the Construction Industry, providing cost management and valuation services to a diverse range of clients. Terry has a wealth of experience in the preparation of budget estimates, project monitoring and reinstatement valuations for insurance purposes for a range of residential and commercial properties.
Terry also has also transitioned to provide valuations for a wide range of residential properties. Terry has a Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering (OTD) and has gained a certificate in property management. Terry is a member of the Barbados Valuers Council.

As a Senior Valuation Surveyor and Project Manager, Rick brings ten years of experience in the provision of valuation services, planning consultancy, project management, project monitoring and appraisal services to a wide range of public and private sector clients.
He has worked in the Caribbean region for over five years undertaking Market Valuations and Reinstatement Cost Assessments in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands in addition to construction/project management and monitoring services for banks who provide financing for construction projects. He has worked in the Bahamas, BVI, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Trinidad and the Turks and Caicos Islands and has a broad knowledge of regional factors impacting the real estate industry.
Rick has a BSc in Real Estate Management from Nottingham Trent University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a RICS Registered Valuer having trained and qualified at Sanderson Weatherall Ltd in the UK.

Rosie Nicholls is a Director and the Head of Valuation Services company wide. Based in the Turks and Caicos Islands, she has been actively engaged in valuation and consultancy services for over 20 years. She joined BCQS International from one of the UK’s largest commercial property development companies in 2005.
Rosie values a broad range of property types and businesses, including hotels, resorts, marinas, airports, private islands, retail and office complexes and single and multi-unit residential developments, for local and international clients for a range of uses.
Rosie has been involved in the representation of clients for Compulsory Acquisition, acted as Expert Witness in matters related to valuations for litigation support and performed consultancy services for regional market and feasibility studies to assist developers in their decision making process. Rosie continues to works closely with her established client base.

Gary Targett is a Construction Superintendent with BCQS Construction Management and has over 25 years of construction management experience. Gary has been with the company for over 16 years; his experience extends to all areas of construction management and site supervision.

Tom Muller is a Construction Superintendent with BCQS Construction Management and has been with the company since 2010.
Tom brings with him 50 years’ worth of experience. He was formerly the lead carpenter and supervisor on a number of notable projects in Manhattan; 30 of those years has been spent in the Cayman Islands, building or managing a substantial number of notable projects within the island.

Steven is an Associate Director based in the Cayman Islands. Steven has lived and worked in the Caribbean for more than fifteen years and has personally worked on projects in the Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Roatan, Turks & Caicos and Trinidad.

Davi is a Project Manager for BCQS. He holds technical qualifications in both Civil Engineering and Project Management and has nearly ten years of experience managing iconic multi-million dollar projects across South and Central America and the Caribbean.
Davi specialises in the area of Planning, Monitoring, Cost Control, and Project and Construction Management and has experience working on a vast range of projects such as Bloomberg, Credit Suisse, Fox Sports, Atacadão Hypermarket (Carrefour Group), Various Shopping Malls, residential estates, private islands, and five stars resorts.
Davi incorporates techniques learned through his training at the Project Management Institute (PMI), with other methods gained as a result of problem-solving difficult situations on projects over the last eight years.

Rolfo is a Quantity Surveyor based in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. He has over three years of experience in the provision of quantity surveying, project monitoring, cost planning and contract administration services. Prior to joining BCQS International, Rolfo held a position with a development company also based in Grand Cayman.
Rolfo has experience over a range of projects in the Cayman Islands, including Residential, Commercial, Civils, and Leisure, with a notable project being the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, Grand Cayman.
Rolfo holds a BSc with Honours in Quantity Surveying, and a MSc in Construction Project Management, both attained from Edinburgh Napier University.

Hernán studied Architecture in Montevideo and he began his career in Uruguay in 1993 as a site based Architect with S.E.R. Construction Company on housing developments. In 1997, he joined Doltasol to become a retail interior designer Architect, and then joined Movicom in 1999 as Project Architect and Project Manager
In 2002 he moved to Madrid to become a Senior Architect with Chapman Taylor Spain, where he gained extensive experience in mixed use complexes, retail and hotels, leading projects in Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Panama, Arabian Emirates and Poland.
In 2012 he moved to Brazil and joined BCQS as Project and Design Manager to assist Squarestone Brasil build the Golden Square Shopping Center in São Bernardo, São Paulo, Brazil.
Since 2015 he is based in Bogotá developing Retail, Industrial and mixed uses Projects.
Geoffrey is a Senior Project / Construction Manager for BCQS International based in Trinidad and Tobago. He has 18 years of experience and specializes in Design and Build projects and advice relating to cost and sustainability in construction.
Prior to joining BCQS in 2018, Geoffrey was a Project Manager at ExeQtech Limited.

Peter Held is a Construction Superintendent with BCQS Construction Management and has over 18 years construction management experience under his belt. As an Architect, Jorge began his professional experience as a designer of projects throughout the territory of Colombia. In addition, experience was gained managing construction work on site as a project coordinator, providing insight and knowledge of the full spectrum of trades.
Jorge has amassed over 25 years of project management experience in Colombia, as well as Brazil, Peru and Venezuela, acting as a senior construction advisor, both in the public and private sector on projects which demanded timeliness, quality and cost control.

Michel has work extensively in Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago, on numerous projects spanning from simple dwelling homes, fire stations, medical facilities, schools, civil construction to large shopping malls.
Michel holds a B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying from the University of Technology, Jamaica and is a member of the Institute of Surveyors of Trinidad and Tobago as well as a APC candidate in pursuit of becoming a chartered member of the RICS in a near future.

Mark is a Quantity Surveyor with over 18 years of construction industry experience. He has been with BCQS International in the BVI since 2007.
He has provided both public and private sector clients with project monitoring, cost management and construction quantity surveying services. His career began as a Contractor’s Quantity Surveyor in Jamaica, he then went on to working in his private practice, where he provided bespoke construction cost consultancy services.
He has contributed to the production of the BCQS Market Trend Report and participated in construction seminars in the BVI. Mark has also done presentations on varying topics in the yearly RICS/IPTI Construction and Valuation Conference.
Mark is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Sanjay Amin is a Director of BCQS International based in Barbados and is responsible for managing their offices in Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana as well as projects in the Eastern Caribbean Islands.
Sanjay has over 30 years of experience providing cost and project management services in the UK and the Caribbean on a variety of hospitality, commercial, retail, industrial and public sector type projects. He specialises in contract procurement, fund monitoring as well as design & build type projects and has acted as an Expert Witness in several cases in the UK, Ireland and Trinidad and Tobago.
Sanjay is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a Registered Valuer. He is a former member of the RICS Global Governing Council (2013-2017) and currently sits on the RICS Caribbean Board having been Chairman for 5 years from 2012–2017.
Sanjay is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Member of the Expert Witness Institute in London. He also sits on the Council of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce.
He is a Rotarian for over 15 years and is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Barbados.
Prior to joining BCQS International, Sanjay was an Associate Partner at Gardiner & Theobald, London, UK. During this time, he worked on a variety of large commercial and industrial developments in the UK including offices, shopping centres, warehouses and business park offices.

Chad Monerville is a Valuation Surveyor for BCQS based in Barbados. He is responsible for residential and commercial appraisals as well as fund monitoring of residential construction loans for public and private sector clients, both locally and internationally.
Chad has local and regional experience providing valuations and cost assessments for various property sub-types including commercial, residential, retail, industrial and agricultural. His overarching aim is to always provide competent ‘Red Book’ valuations to ultimately reduce the level of risk for investors in the Built Environment.
Chad is a 1st Class Honours graduate from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus and is an RICS Registered Valuer.
Further, he is appointed by the Cabinet of Barbados as the CARICOM Youth Ambassador for Barbados and the Deputy Chairman of Erdiston Teachers’ Training College.

James Slattery is a Director of BCQS heading up the Group’s interests in Latin America. He has been living and working in the Caribbean and Latin America region for over 3 decades. Currently, he is specifically concentrating on the South America market, specifically Brazil and Colombia, as well as Guyana.
James is a Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor by profession, with over three decades of experience in Property Development, Real Estate, and Construction.
His more recent project experience is within the Hospitality, Health, Contract Workplace & Contact Center sectors, as well as Hi Tech industrial plants.
James is a founding executive board member of RICS Brazil; and a founding Executive Council member of Turks & Caicos Society of Architects, Surveyors and Engineers (TCASE).

Kevin is a Chartered Valuation Surveyor based in the Barbados Office, having relocated from our Cayman Islands office in February 2018. He has over eight years of Caribbean experience in the provision of valuation services and compulsory purchase advice. Prior to joining BCQS International, Kevin held a position with the Valuation Office at the Cayman Islands Government.
Overall, Kevin has more than 19 years’ experience providing high level valuation reporting and advice to a variety of private and public sector clients both locally and throughout the Caribbean including the Cayman Islands, Cuba, Jamaica, St Lucia, Grenada, Sint Maarten, Anguilla, Curacao, Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados. His expertise also covers compulsory purchase acquisitions, advising, negotiating and settling claims in both the United Kingdom and in the Caribbean.
Kevin has a BSc (Hons) in Business & Accounting from Brunel University, a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from the University of Reading and has also been a professionally qualified Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2005.

As a Director of BCQS International in BVI, Chris brings twenty years of experience in the provision of Project and Cost Management, Expert Witness, Dispute Resolution, Quantity Surveying, and Valuation services to a wide range of public and private sector clients, fifteen years within the Caribbean Region.
His experience covers a wide range of projects from iconic skyscrapers, private island developments, resort hotels, state of the art schools, to boutique office refurbishments and high-end residential homes.
Chris holds a BSc in Economics & Quantity Surveying, an MBA with Distinction, is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is an RICS Registered Valuer.

Ben Butler is a Director of BCQS International based in the British Virgin Islands office.
Ben has over 20 years of postgraduate experience providing quantity surveying, project management, project monitoring and appraisal services to both public and private sector clients. Ben has lived and worked in the Caribbean for over 15 years and specialises in project management, enhancing schemes utilizing value, and risk management techniques to optimize their feasibility.
Ben is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is a RICS Registered Valuer.

As a Director of BCQS International based in the British Virgin Islands, Jonathan has work experience in both the United Kingdom and the Caribbean. Jonathan specializes in Construction, Project and Cost Management services on a wide variety of projects for both public and private sector Clients including airport rehabilitation, hospital and medical facilities, higher and further education campuses, large scale resort and island developments, custom built luxury residences, commercial and retail projects and fit-outs, marine and infrastructure projects and has a great deal of local and regional knowledge from delivering projects across the Eastern Caribbean ranging in value from $1M-100M+.
Jonathan also has experience in providing expert witness services for a number of local and regional claim disputes including providing forensic claims reports, Alternative Dispute Resolution methods and settlement advice.
Jonathan holds a BSc with Honors from Loughborough University, a Post Graduate Diploma with Distinction in Construction from Birmingham City University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

As an Associate Director in the BVI, Kevi brings over ten years of experience in providing Project Management, Cost Management and Procurement services to a wide range of public and private sector clientele. Over the years Kevi has gathered a wealth of international experience working both throughout the Caribbean and the United Kingdom. These experiences have seen him working on a wide range of projects, from private homes to schools, boutique office fit-outs, large residential complexes and heritage building conversions. Well versed and experienced in several different procurement methods, Kevi plays a vital role in all instances of project delivery.

Lavern Gumbs joined the BCQS team in the British Virgin Islands in 2002 and has over 30 years of experience in business management. She is always eager to take on a new challenge, and it is through this, she has developed in her career with BCQS. Lavern has excellent time management skills and can handle any situation that arises. She utilises several strategies to deal with the many unplanned events that come with working in the Caribbean. Her combination of planning, strategy, delegating and adaptability are what ensure the BCQS team in the BVI are equipped to assist clients. Lavern is often referred to as "a people person" because of her dedication to clients and colleagues and her passion for excelling at her job.
Neil Purton is a Director of the BCQS Group. Neil has over two decades of post graduate experience in project management and quantity surveying. Neil has been based in the Caribbean since 1996, specialising in project and construction management.

Travis joined BCQS International in Barbados in 2015 and is a vital addition to the valuation team. Specialising in residential valuations, he has provided services to a wide range of public and private sector clients, over the years within Barbados.
His wealth of local knowledge of the residential market has contributed to many "large scale" valuation projects. Additionally, showing a keen interest in the realms of Quantity Surveying, he has broadened his knowledge base in the field and provides more rounded advice to his clients.
Travis holds a BSc in Land Management and Valuation and is currently pursuing his AssocRICS membership.

Following graduation from Nottingham Trent University in UK in 1989, Simon gained valuable experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager in the UK before starting life with BCQS in Cayman Islands in 1997 and subsequently taking over management of the Turks & Caicos Islands office in 2000. During his time in TCI, the islands have experienced unprecedented growth of the hotel and tourism and infrastructure sectors and Simon and his BCQS team provided management and cost advisory services on many of these development projects.
Simon is also a RICS Registered Valuer, having carried out numerous property valuations and appraisals for all major lenders in the region. With his wealth of experience in construction & development in the Caribbean, Simon provides a valuable resource for any potential Developer or Investor and this knowledge has enabled him provide extensive construction loan monitoring and lender representation services on many types of projects.
