The Opportunity

BCQS is seeking an experienced Commercial Cost Manager to join our growing team across the Caribbean.

This is a long-term opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-quality projects across the region, while growing your career within an established consultancy. The Role

You will take ownership of the commercial function on live projects, working directly with clients, contractors, consultants and project teams across the region. This is not a support role; it requires technical depth, sound commercial judgement and the confidence to operate with autonomy in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities
• Cost planning, cost control, and value management
• Procurement advice and tender analysis
• Contract administration and commercial management
• Risk management and reporting
• Preparation of monthly cost reports and valuations
• Assessment of variations and contractual claims
• Ongoing cost monitoring and financial reporting

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ideally 10+ years’ post-graduate experience in quantity surveying or cost management
• Strong candidates with slightly less experience will also be considered
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• MRICS or working towards chartership is preferred
• Experience delivering complex projects, including high-value or multi-sector developments, is advantageous
• Experience in luxury hospitality projects would be a strong advantage
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to work independently within a small, collaborative team
• Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach
