This holiday season, we have come together to support our local communities, helping those who need it most in the places we work.
“It’s important for everyone to experience the joy of the season, regardless of their circumstances,” says Liam Day, Managing Director for BCQS. “With all of the support across our locations this year, we’re happy to help make the holidays a little brighter for those who need it most.”
This year we are proud to support several local charities across the Caribbean, including:
Bahamas
Persis Rodgers Home for the Aged, a home that provides 24-hour care for elderly residents.
Barbados
Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust (ELYCT), Annual Christmas Program. The ELYCT serves Barbados’s urban and rural areas to support the underprivileged and impoverished children in the region.
Barbados Blind Cricket Association.
British Virgin Islands
Lions Club of Tortola, Annual Christmas Toy Drive.
Cayman Islands
Lions Club, Annual Christmas Toy Drive.
Guyana
Ptolemy Reid Rehab, a non-profit organisation providing rehabilitation services for children and adults with physical/developmental disabilities in Guyana.
Turks & Caicos
Ashley’s Learning Center – a small, non-profit institution created to nurture and develop young children with mild to severe disabilities. The school has a small, but qualified staff who love to teach and provide a warm learning environment for the students. Their main goal is to imbue students with the skills necessary to have a successful, independent, and happy life in their community.
Trinidad & Tobago
The Princess Elizabeth Home, supporting children with special needs to ensure they are afforded facilities that will help them lead healthy, happy lives.
Trinidad and Tobago Blind Welfare Association.
Annual Santa visit and gift donations for the Brasso Seco Village Annual Christmas Party.
