Supporting our Local Communities this Holiday Season

 

 

2020 has been a challenging year. We’ve been confronted with creating and adapting to new ways of working and living amid the global pandemic. But for all the difficulties we have faced, 2020 has also provided a unique opportunity to reflect. What really stands out is how coming together to support each other in difficult times is of paramount importance.

 

 

BCQS is committed to supporting the local communities in which we live and work. Leading up to the holiday season, we are proud to support the following local charities and campaigns:

Bahamas

Persis Rodgers Home for the Aged, a home that provides 24-hour care for elderly residents.

Barbados

Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust (ELYCT), serving the urban and rural areas of Barbados to support the underprivileged and impoverished children in the region.

British Virgin Islands

The Family Support Network, a non-profit, non-governmental, organisation (NGO) whose primary aim is to aid individuals, couples and families affected by domestic violence.

Cayman Islands

DMS Operation End Hunger Campaign, a month long food drive run by DMS broadcasting to support various organisations that provide food to the community, such as Feed Our Future, Meals on Wheels, and Various church pantries in the Cayman Islands.

The Breast Cancer Foundation – Cayman Islands, supporting breast cancer patients in the Cayman Islands.

Colombia

The Pro Archipielago Foundation, supporting the reconstruction of San Andrés, Providencia, from damages sustained when hurricane Iota went through.

Guyana

The Red Cross Children’s Convalescent Home, residential care and support for underprivileged and impoverished children in the region.

Trinidad

The Princess Elizabeth Home, supporting children with special needs to ensure they are afforded facilities that will help them lead healthy, happy lives.

Turks & Caicos

The Orchard TCI, caring individuals building a bridge of community togetherness with delicious, nutritious food as well as much needed supplies for a healthy, meaningful future in the Turks And Caicos Islands.
