The BCQS team is attending CHICOS 2018

Our BCQS team will be at CHICOS 2018 – The HVS Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference and Operations Summit. The conference is being held at the Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda on 8th & 9th November 2018.

Liam Day, Managing Director for BCQS will be moderating the session, “Understanding the Cost of Doing Business in the Region”. Building and renovating hotels in the region has its challenges. Owners, brands and construction experts discuss how to complete construction projects on-time and within budget. The Panelists will draw upon lessons learned to provide valuable insight into the best strategies to adopt. Issues addressed will include: mitigating overall project risk, choose the most appropriate delivery method, putting the right development team together and what are the major pitfalls to avoid. The panel aims to be as interactive as possible and will also cover the nuances of challenges faced in certain jurisdictions that aren’t an issue in others and the vast variation in construction costs across the region.
